What it is
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro). It is an analogue of the immunomodulatory tetrapeptide tuftsin, extended for greater stability. In laboratory work it is treated as a neuropeptide / neuroimmune signal, not as a finished anxiolytic or consumer nootropic.
Research focus
The literature places Selank in CNS and immune-interface research: models of anxiety-like behavior, GABAergic and enkephalin signaling, and related work on attention and stress biology. Published papers examine Selank in rodent and cell systems of anxiety, gene expression in the brain, and immune modulation. This page documents the compound on file. It does not instruct use.
