What it is

GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine. The peptide occurs in human plasma and was isolated as a growth-modulating factor in the 1970s. In laboratory work it is treated as a copper-delivery and gene-expression signal, not as a finished medicine or cosmetic.

Research focus

The literature places GHK-Cu in extracellular-matrix biology: collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis in culture, wound-repair and skin-remodeling models, and copper-dependent antioxidant enzymes. Related work examines hair-follicle and tissue-repair settings. These are research territories, not outcomes a visitor should expect.
